Brewery Assistant

We're looking for a motivated Brewery Assistant to join our production team. This is a hands-on, entry-level position that supports daily brewery operations, with a primary focus on keg cleaning and preparation. Additional responsibilities include assisting with packaging, maintaining a clean and organized production space, and supporting the brewing team as needed.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning more about brewery production and developing the skills needed to grow into cellar and brewing operations over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare kegs for production and distribution.
  • Assist with canning, packaging, labeling, and palletizing finished beer.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the brewery, including production areas and equipment.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Assist with inventory organization and movement of materials.
  • Support the Head Brewer with general brewery tasks as assigned.
  • Learn and assist with brewery cellar operations as training and experience allow.

  • Interest in craft beer and brewery production.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining high standards.
  • Dependable, punctual, and reliable.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the brewery.
  • Forklift certification a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability To lift 55+lbs.
  • Ability to lift or move (with assistance) kegs or cases of beer, up to 165 lbs assisted.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a hot and cold environment.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
